The archer’s Full Moon gallops into the sky on June 3rd at 8:42pm PT. This is also known as the strawberry Moon to the First Peoples because the blossoms for the berries are beginning to set and bring forth fruit. This is an optimistic Full Moon that heralds the beginning of the abundant summer season and what we hope it will bring us.
“To boldly go where no one has gone before.” This is the motto of the Sagittarius. This is the sign of the “seeker” that loves nothing more than a meaningful quest. The subjects that Sags love to inhabit on are “truth, justice, and the meaning of life.” Ya know, light subjects like that. Sagittariuses are motivated by the quest for meaning and the love of truth.
There is something very powerful about living in truth. If we live in our personal truth, we are in alignment. If we are living a lie in some part of our life, then we are out of alignment with our higher self and this is more uncomfortable than seeing a truth that needs to be embraced. The truth will always set you free, even if it is harsh at first.
With this Moon Square (an aspect that demands action) Saturn (the planet of responsibility and limits) and trine Mars (the planet of action) you might just be seeing some truths that you don’t want to see. The light of this Moon could be illuminating a place in your life where you are being irresponsible and need to rein it in.
Don’t look away because this harsh reality will be supported by Mars to take action to change it. Allow the truth to be exposed and take note of it. Then employ Mars to create action to make a meaningful change.
Resist the urge to attack all the disheveled parts of your life like a duck dynasty dude and pick ONE THING to address. In doing that, you can honestly make a difference in your life opposed to beating yourself up then falling in a heap of depression.
The best way to make meaningful changes is through micro changes. Make a plan of action that has tiny changes in it that make success conceivable and attainable!
Good news for this Moon is that Venus is in a delicious trine with Neptune that involved the Moon before the Full Moon so this is a wonderful energy to believe in magic and allow Spirit to support you in these changes too. You do not have to go at this alone. You are never alone. You are surrounded by magic and energy all around you.
