Let’s Talk About Safety – Neighborhood Watch Program; Emergency Preparedness/Know Your Neighborhood

Join Tillamook Police Department, Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office and local Emergency Volunteer organizations to talk about Community Safety & Preparedness – Neighborhood Watch programs and emergency preparedness Know Your Neighbors help you feel safe in your community and prepare you for an emergency.

Following the Great Shake-Out/Move-Out drill on Oct. 19th, emergency volunteer corps identified Tillamook central as not having an organized group focused on emergency preparedness. Tillamook Police Department’s Nick Troxel has been working on launching a neighborhood watch program, and the two projects go hand-in-hand. Learn more about neighborhood watch and how knowing your neighbors can help during an emergency on October 24th from 6 to 7:30 pm at Tillamook Bay Community College.
Community Conversations are supported by the City of Tillamook, Tillamook Bay Community College, Oregon Department of Justic Civil Rights Unit, Tillamook Family Counseling Center, Tillamook County Community Health Centers and the Tillamook County Pioneer
