On Wednesday, December 17, at approximately 9:45 p.m., law enforcement officers, along with our partners from the Nehalem Bay Fire Department, responded to Manzanita City Park following reports of a possible fire.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a play structure had been intentionally set on fire. The fire was extinguished , and there were no reports of injuries.
This incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Manzanita Police Department.
