Dig your feet into the ground Earthlings! This Full Blood Moon Eclipse in Virgo on March 3rd is a big emotional roller coaster! You are going to feel up, then down, then up, then down. Your job, should you choose to accept it, is slow down, ground and be very very kind to yourself and others.
This is a Full Moon total Lunar Eclipse that is visible on the West Coast. It will be the last total Lunar eclipse visible here for 2 years, so get out and watch it if it’s clear. The Eclipse will start at around 1am on March 3rd with totality at starting at 3 am turning the Moon dark red and why it’s called a “Blood Moon”. By 4am, the Earth’s shadow will start to slide off the Moon and by 5am the show will be mostly over.
Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty of this Full Moon. The Moon will be in Virgo across from a large gathering of planets in the sign of Pisces. All the inner planets are in Pisces right now, Venus, Mercury (who’s retrograde), and Mars along with our luminary, the Sun. This is a potent mix of energy.
We are all being drawn into the deep well of emotions where we all hold our traumas, profound pain and shame. This portal will expose all of those uncomfortable feelings for us to nurture them, then transform them into empowerment.
All of these feelings are a part of us, not outside of us.
Just like we are all humans, having an Earthling experience that is messy, imperfect and painful. It is also glorious, profound and interesting. We ARE ALL having this experience. Pisces feels that.
We are all human. The Ocean refuses no river.
The Mercury retrograde involved with this eclipse is an excellent opportunity to slow down and reassess the parts of your life that are in need of some growth. Suspend judgement, embrace kindness and plant some seeds of love and possibility.
Try not to rush towards answers, this Eclipse encourages reflection and patience. Don’t worry, even though miscommunications may happen, with care and understanding of what is going on, we can work things out. We must be a little more patient than usual.
Also it is important to take good care your nervous system as it will be edgy and overloaded during the Eclipse portal. Ground, breathe and pause. Get outside and commune in nature, as that is vital to processing the Virgo Full Moon energy.
This storm of emotions that we might experience during this Full Moon will clear the way for higher consciousness and a better understanding of what we need to weed, fertilize and grow during this Eclipse portal. Choose carefully what you want to plant.
