NEHALEM, OR — Riverbend Players proudly presents Neil Simon’s beloved comedy The Odd Couple, opened Friday, June 5th at the NCRD Performing Arts Center in Nehalem and runs through June 14th.
One of the most celebrated comedies ever written, The Odd Couple follows the hilariously mismatched lives of neat-freak Felix Ungar and easygoing slob Oscar Madison after the two become unlikely roommates. Packed with rapid-fire wit, unforgettable characters, and timeless humor, the show remains one of Neil Simon’s most enduring audience favorites.
Directed by Frank Squillo, this production brings fresh energy and classic charm to the stage while celebrating the heart and humor that have made The Odd Couple a staple of American theater for generations.
“The Odd Couple is funny because it’s honest,” said director Frank Squillo. “At its core, it’s about friendship, loneliness, and the chaos that happens when very different people try to share a life together. Audiences will absolutely recognize themselves, or someone they know, in these characters.”
Performances will be held at the NCRD Performing Arts Center, located at 36155 9th Street in Nehalem. Show dates run June 5th through June 14th.
Tickets are now on sale and available online at RiverbendPlayers.org.
