Greetings Earthlings!
Jumping Jupiter, what a wild ride these last few months has been! I’ve felt like I’ve been hanging on by my fingernails one moment, and then firmly at the wheel the next moment. These are the times were in, friends. The most significant thing you can do is to slow down and take care of yourself.
Let’s start with the Sagittarius New Moon on Saturday night: It is an excellent Moon to want to charge forward into organizing your Christmas decorations and schedule. Saturn squares (an aspect that demands action) this Moon so you might get overwhelmed by all the loose ends you see that need tied up. Take a big deep breath and make a to-do list. This will take the noise out of your atmosphere, and tame the inner critic that can come with Saturn aspects.
The Sagittarius New Moon is the kick off to the Holiday season and with Saturn there pushing, it is not the normal introspective New Moon. Sagittarius is the sign of the adventurer that loves a new horizon to explore. It is a mutable fire sign that is full of zest and seeks new fuel to stoke its fires. This adds another element of urgency to this Moon that can be very overwhelming.
Remember to moderate this Moon by realizing you do not have to fill up your calendar or decorate the neighborhood. Sagittarius is the sign of choosing a target to direct your arrow towards, so choose how you want to capture the energy of this Moon.

Sagittarius is a very willful and energetic sign that can steer its direction with great precision, so use that energy to create a more peaceful holiday season and new year. Saturn will assist you with its strength and focus on sustainability.
There are more reasons to control the chaos of the season as on December 7th Mars, the planet of action, is going retrograde in Leo. This is a significant aspect that only comes every 26 months. Venus goes retrograde every 18 months and Mercury 3 times a year (which is retrograde right now) so you can see how noteworthy this is for a close inner planet that affects Earthlings.
Mars is our inner dude that is our jetpack, compelling us to surge forward in our endeavors, But, when Mars starts its retrograde, it wants us to slow down and change what actions are not serving us. It is a time to not take things so seriously and don’t force things.
People can be on edge during this transit, since everything they are trying to push through is pushing back. Take that into consideration before saying or doing something unkind.
This New Moon combined with the retrograde planets is a beautiful spark to ignite the fires to cultivate contentment and focus on what really matters as this year draws to an end.
