Greetings Earthlings! Here we are in a new month with a New Moon at 7pm PT on 9/2/24 gracing us to start anew. No matter how tangled and weird things can be, the New Moon gifts us with a reset button.
This New Moon particularly opens the door to refreshing the browser as it is happening right before the Eclipse gateway that starts with the next Full Moon. And it’s in the sacred sign of Virgo.
Virgo is aligned with the planet Mercury which is all about movement and flexibility. Virgo is also an Earth sign so is the most grounded of the mutable signs (Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius) but this beautiful sign of the Goddess is ever ready to shift.
Think of Virgo like you would the Great Mother Earth, full of life, nurturing and ever changing. She can also be quick tempered and eruptive! But she is consistently under our feet, providing us with strength and nourishment. (If we treat her with respect!)
This Virgo New Moon is holding us in its strong embrace, giving us the space and flexibility to clear the page for a new story.
However . . . that clearing might need some cleaning up first so that you can move on.
Saturn in Pisces is opposing the Moon exactly across the wheel from Virgo. Saturn has its own strength that requires us to clean up our structures that support us. With Saturn lending its pressure to this Virgo Moon, you probably have a very strong urge to clean the house, garage, car, or do your taxes etc. (I know I have been!)
However, one of the big lessons of Saturn in Pisces, is that it is of utmost importance to create a structure for caring for ourselves. If we don’t take care of ourselves, our very structure, our bodies minds and spirits, can fall apart.
Let the energies of this New Moon propel you towards taking better care of yourself. Perhaps that involves cleaning the house as well! For me, I have felt a very strong urge to clean up my diet. I feel so much better for it.
This Moon phase is full of Grace from our Great Mother Earth and Father Sky for you to take the steps to start a new way to support yourself.
