BAY CITY ARTS CENTER: Bay City Pearl & Oyster Festival is getting even bigger this year! Pre-Festival Kick-off Friday 8/21 at BCAC; Festival Sat. & Sun. 8/22 & 8/23

As our food vendors, craft vendors, and volunteers are busy transforming Al Griffin Memorial Park for an incredible weekend, we’re inviting everyone to join us Friday evening for our Friday Pre-Festival Kick Off at the Bay City Arts Center.
This relaxed community gathering is the perfect way to kick off festival weekend before Saturday’s festivities begin.

6:00 PM – The SeaDogs
Celebrate Oregon’s maritime heritage with sea shanties, coastal music, and coastal storytelling.
8:00 PM – Bart Budwig
One of Oregon’s favorite singer-songwriters brings his signature blend of Americana, folk, and indie music for an unforgettable evening.
While festival vendors are setting up and the excitement builds for an incredible weekend, come grab a chair, bring your family and friends, and enjoy a beautiful summer evening filled with live music, community, and the spirit of the Oregon Coast.
As with every event during the Bay City Pearl & Oyster Festival, admission is 100% FREE and everyone is welcome!
Come help us kick off what promises to be our biggest and best festival yet.
Festival Weekend
Friday, August 21 – Friday Pre-Festival Kick Off at the Bay City Arts Center
Saturday, August 22 – Main Festival Day
Sunday, August 23 – Kids & Family Day

Bay City Pearl and Oyster Music Festival @Al Griffin Memorial Park, Bay City, OR

We love our communityΒ 

We are a group of volunteers that come together to plan this annual event, the Bay City Pearl and Oyster Festival. Since 2023 we have organized a two day event filled with fantastic music, and a very special family day, filled with games and a talent show, organized by Marly L. Lots of fabulous vendors, local foods, raffles and much more.Β  Held at Al Griffin Memorial Park in Bay City, Oregon, the festival takes place the fourth weekend in August.

2026 Line Up – 5 bands, 2 stages – 8 hours of music

Tombstone Shadows (CCR Tribute) – 1:00 PM

Hope Montgomery & The Invasive Species – 3:00 PM

Fighting Foos (Foo Fighters Tribute) – 4:00 PM

Mercury Coast – 6:00 PM

Bad Medicine (Bon Jovi Tribute) – 7:00 PM

Kids DayΒ SUNDAY 8/23 – A Day of Fun for the Little Ones!

Talent Show

Bring the whole family to our special Kids’ Day filled with exciting activities, games, and entertainment designed just for kids! From treasure hunts to craft corners, we’ve got something for every young festival-goer.

We are planning for another fabulastic family fun day at our 2026 Pearl and Oyster Festival including our annual talent show. Keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Event Highlights:

  • Live Music:Β This FREE festival features 4 Bands on 2 stages spanning 8 hours of non-stop music on Saturday. ​
  • Family Activities:Β Sunday is designated as Kid’s Day, offering a range of activities tailored for children, including an annual talent show. ​
  • Local Vendors:Β Attendees can explore booths showcasing local crafts, products, and services, providing a platform for community businesses to connect with festival-goers. ​
  • Food:Β FromΒ 2024 featured: Pacific Oyster, Toune’s Noodles, and Ronnie’s BBQΒ 
  • Beer & Wine Garden:Β A variety of options are available. Beverages from Clatsop Distributing pouring Beers from Buoy Beer and Pelican Brewing. A variety of Wines and Prosecco poured from Grocery Outlet.

Community Involvement:

The festival thrives on community support, with numerous local businesses sponsoring and contributing to the event’s success. Volunteers play a crucial role, and those interested in participating can find more information on the festival’s website. ​
