Beach Barbecue Fundraiser for CARE Inc. Saturday August 24th in Rockaway Beach

Happening THIS Saturday, August 24th a Beach Barbecue Fundraiser in support of CARE, Inc.! 🌊🍔
Enjoy an Old Fashioned Family Barbecue at the beautiful St. Mary’s by the Sea Catholic Church, right on the beach in Rockaway. For your generous donation, they’ll be serving up classic favorites like franks, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, brownies, and refreshing lemonade. 🍉🍋
Bring the kids and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with music, a silent auction, and more—all while supporting a great cause.
100% of net proceeds go to CARE, Inc.
📅 Date: Saturday, August 24, 2024
🕛 Time: Noon to 3 PM
📍 Location:  Beach in front of St. Mary’s by the Sea, 275 S. Pacific St., Rockaway Beach, OR

This wonderful event that the (TEC) Tillamook Ecumenical Churches (a group of local Churches of different denomination from throughout the county) has organized to help support the programs at CARE Inc. TEC has long supported CARE Inc. in it’s mission to provide a wide array of services for people in crisis and others who struggle to make ends meet.  In February 2024, due to staffing issues, TEC handed over their services to CARE and now helps to raise funds to support the fund and programs.Forming a new group called Crossroads, Together in Service, Crossroads have joined CARE in a fundraiser for next Saturday, August 24th, 2024 A good Old Fashioned Family Barbeque! And we would like to invite YOU!

Jeff Blackford, executive director of CARE, will be giving an update on CARE’s progress on the shelter project and what new programs being developed.  If you are not able to attend, please consider sending a donation to: CARE Inc., 2310 1st Suite 2, Tillamook, OR  97141
