Mayor Charles McNeilly has announced his campaign for re-election, focusing on three key priorities that will help strengthen Rockaway Beach over the next two years: improving downtown parking, supporting tourism and local businesses, and maintaining responsible financial management.
“As our community continues to grow and attract visitors, we must focus on practical solutions that improve access to downtown, support our local economy, and ensure taxpayer dollars are managed wisely,” McNeilly said.
McNeilly’s priorities include:
• Expanding and improving parking availability in downtown Rockaway Beach to better serve residents, visitors, and businesses.
• Enhancing tourism opportunities and promoting local businesses to strengthen the city’s economy and encourage year-round visitation.
• Continuing sound financial stewardship through responsible budgeting, transparency, and careful management of city resources.
“I am proud of the progress we’ve made and look forward to continuing to work with residents, businesses, and community partners to keep Rockaway Beach a great place to live, work, and visit,” McNeilly said.
