This Saturday, September 29 is the 2nd annual Pelican Brewing Co. Salmon Run.
Road closures will start at 9:30 am. It is anticipated the event will be complete by 12:30 pm.
Travel through the City of Tillamook is still available. Motorists will need to be aware of flaggers and volunteers at intersections and follow their directions.
There will be several ROAD CLOSURES for the second annual Pelican Brewing Salmon Run 5K/10K/15K.
The run starts promptly at 10:05 am.
FULL ROAD CLOSURES will include:
*All of Fraser Road between Highway 131 and Tillamook River Road (Before and during the run)
*Tillamook River Road from 12th Street to Eckloff Road (Before and during the run)
*12th Street from Main Avenue to Stillwell Avenue (Before and during the run)
*1st Street from Ivy Avenue to Fir Avenue (All day)
*Stillwell Avenue from 1st Street to 12th Street (Before and during the run)
This event will affect travel to and from the transfer station on Eckloff Road. All traffic needing to access the transfer station will have to use Highway 101 (southbound) to Tillamook River Road.
Residents of Tillamook River Road and Fraser Road should have received a notice in the mail regarding the road closures. Traffic will be limited to residents only. It is suggested if you need to travel the closed routes, to do so before or after the closure or bring your letter with you to present if asked.
