Saturday, June 27th – 69th Annual June Dairy Parade

We are capping off this incredible month with the crown jewel of our community traditions: the 69th Annual June Dairy Parade! For nearly seven decades, this parade has been the ultimate celebration of Tillamook’s rich heritage, and this year promises to be an absolute blast.

In honor of the historic 250th Birthday of America, this year’s parade theme is “Stars, Stripes, and Dairy Delights!” Expect a spectacular, patriotic showcase of marching bands, elaborate community floats, vintage tractors, the iconic Dairy Royalty and so much more! Highlighting the deep roots of our hard-working farming families, it’s a high energy, community wide event that draws folks from all over the region. Find your spot on the sidewalk early, bring a lawn chair, and get ready to cheer.

With this year’s patriotic theme, our streets will be filled with beautiful red, white, and blue displays. As the official color guard passes by carrying the American flag, it is proper etiquette for spectators to stand, remove any hats, and place their right hand over their heart until the flag has passed. Additionally, if you or your little ones are enjoying small hand held flags during the festivities, please be sure to hold onto them securely so they stay off the ground and out of the street. Let’s keep our celebration beautiful and respectful for everyone.

June is bursting at the seams with community spirit, good food, and unforgettable memories. We’ll see you out there! Happy Summer Kickoff, Tillamook County!
