Dr. Darin Prulhiere will join the Tillamook County Community Health Center’s provider team star ng on December 16, 2024. Dr. Prulhiere is a board-certified Family Physician and a Certified Medical Director. For over 20 years, his practice has focused on the care of adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient primary care, post acute/long-term care, as well as dementia care.
Dr. Prulhiere has family connections within the Tillamook County community and previously lived here, while working at the original TCCHC Rockaway Health Clinic in 2002 for his first job a er comple ng his residency. “My family and I are happy to be back home and be a part of the Tillamook community. I am delighted to be serving Tillamook County once again,” said Dr. Prulhiere. “I have always been impressed with how this wonderful community pitches in to support one another and how hard people work here.”
“Dr. Prulhiere is an experienced and skilled medical professional, and we are thrilled to have him back on our medical team,” said Marlene Putman, Administrator of the Tillamook County Community Health Centers and Director of the Tillamook County Health and Human Services Department. Dr. Prulhiere’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Oregon State University and a Master of Science degree in Biology from Portland State University. In 1998, he graduated from Oregon Health & Science University’s School of Medicine with a Medical Doctorate degree and earned the honor of “Outstanding Student Entering a Family Medicine Residency.” He completed his residency at Ventura County Hospital.
