Falcon Cove Beach Domestic Water Supply District Quarterly Meeting Dec. 9, 2023

The regular quarterly meeting of the FCBDWD board of commissioners will take place next Saturday, December 9, at 9:30 am, at 44920 Tide Ave, Arch Cape. The agenda is shared below:

Quarterly Board Meeting Agenda -4Q’23: 9 December 2023
Location: 44920 Tide Ave, Arch Cape Time: 9:30 am
Water Samples: Sept 6, Oct 18, Nov 15 All passed! https://yourwater.oregon.gov/
Completed required tests for Pb/Cu on 8/25/2023.
Water quality parameters (WQP) collected 7/24/2023.
Disinfection By-Product (DPB) collected 11/27/2023 and Nitrates from NS on 11/28/2023.

Attendees:
Secretary: Review and approve minutes from 9/10/2023 3Q Board Meeting
Treasurer’s Report:
1. Bills needing review
2. Account balances: Checking= $ 34.4K Pool= $ 84K SIRF= $ 370.8K
System Operator’s Report:
1. South Spring collection vault sealed and filled.
2. Implemented backflow testing.
3. System line/hydrant flushing.
4. Columbia Rd telemetry/valve box cover replaced.
5. Main power line to NS repaired.
6. Water level indicator on reservoir repaired.
Leaks & Repairs:
1. SCADA System installation complete, but problem with telemetry issue at South Spring persists
2. All locks upgraded and changed
3. Booster pump meter replacement part has arrived; installation will soon be scheduled
4. Annual roof maintenance at both NS and SS completed
Old Business:
1. New rates went into effect September 1.
2. GSI status on perfecting our Water Rights for North Spring and South Spring
3. Water Management & Conservation Plan (WMCP) update

4. Backflow inspections update.
New Business:
1. Arch Cape Emergency Committee proposal re grants
2. Arch Cape Fire Station Lock System proposal by ACFCBCC
3. Emergency Supply Storage Location Options A-E
