FREE CLASS – Consumer Basics of Long-Term Care at TBCC March 6th from 1 to 3 pm

The Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman is offering a free class on March 6 from 1 to 3 pm at Tillamook Bay Community College to help consumers better understand Oregon’s long-term care system. Presenters will discuss how to be a savvy consumer before signing any contract, describe perks and pitfalls of community care, and provide instruction on how and where to apply for Medicaid. Most importantly, presenters will discuss the additional rights that are afforded to all residents living in licensed, long-term care settings in Oregon.
