It looks like today and tonight will be your dry day as by tomorrow afternoon, we see an increasing chance of rain with the next approaching system. It looks like we will see mostly cloudy skies tonight with the offshore winds picking up, becoming northeasterly 8-12 gusting to 20, the low near 50.
Tomorrow, we start out fair and mild, but we see increasing clouds, then the chance of rain starts to increase in the afternoon as another front is approaching, the winds becoming southerly 5-10, highs near 67. Tomorrow night looks cloudy and rainy with the first in a series of systems moving up across the area, the wind southerly 5-10, lows near 51.
Saturday morning the rain eases briefly, though as we have a trough moving in that brings more rain into the area, winds remain southerly 5-10, highs near 63, then rainy and breezy Saturday night with the southerly winds 14-18 gusting to 30, the low near 52. Unfortunately, all this looks to keep our morning skies mostly cloudy to cloudy so eclipse watching is unlikely.
Sunday we are brushed by another warm front so more clouds and rain with the winds easing some, highs near 66, still rainy Sunday night, lows near 53.
Monday the next cold front moves in bringing more clouds, rain, and winds to the area, highs still near 66, lows near 53.
Tuesday the associated trough rolls across, so it also looks cloudy and rainy, highs near 62, lows near 49.
The models are suggesting a ridge moves across Wednesday so the rain activity should start to ease, the highs back up near 66, lows near 51.
All this rain has pushed the river levels up a couple of feet, but the prolonged rain period expected does not raise flooding concerns.
