Join us for HUGGS Time on the second Wednesday of each month at 4 pm – this month, September 9th – in the commons area at the Old Wheeler Hotel for a Grief Gathering based loosely on the cycles and seasons of nature. Each session lasts roughly an hour to an hour and a half, and while all grievers and forms of grief are welcome, the gatherings will be geared towards those grieving the loss of a loved one. Gatherings will be facilitated by local author and essayist Adam Sawyer.
Finding Strength in Shared Experience
Grief isn’t one-size-fits-all, and navigating it alone can feel heavy. Whether you are carrying the loss of a loved one, a major life shift, or a quiet burden you’ve held for years, a new gathering in North County offers a gentle, welcoming space to land.
All people and all forms of grief are welcome. The gatherings are facilitated by local author and essayist Adam Sawyer. Having navigated his own deep personal losses, Adam has openly shared his journey and found a calling in bringing people together to speak honestly about grief.
