At Noon on Halloween, a crowd gathered in Rockaway Beach on the shore of Lake Lytle as the witches readied their brooms – I mean boards and kayaks … in the spirit of the day, a witchy bunch pushed off and paddled the length of Lake Lytle, with calm weather and under partly sunny skies … gliding over the lake the witches flew (paddled) and cackled all the way. Rockaway Beach Mayor Charles McNeilly cheered on the festivities as Rockaway Beach City Councilor Mary McGinnis paddled away with the witches.
Great fun was had by all!
