The opinion piece from Jenny Greenleaf about the upcoming Manzanita election was outstanding.
Two of the three candidates running against the current mayor and city councilors are not fit to take leadership in our community.
One is a quitter who has no vision or plan other than to listen to the citizens, clearly not a leader.
The other is a quarrelsome nuisance who denigrates those for doing just what he did when he was city manager, portrays himself as smarter than all the experts, refuses to answer questions directly, and would further divide the city to no one’s benefit.
Ms. Greenleaf caught all of this. We should be grateful to her for her perspicacity.
