CANCELLED: Manzanita City Council to interview City Manager finalists, Public Invited to Meet Aug. 23

EDITOR’S NOTE: The City has received word that candidate Allan Schmidt has withdrawn his application for City Manager. Therefore, the interview process announced earlier is cancelled. The City Council will have an executive session on August 23 to discuss how to proceed.

The Manzanita City Council will interview two candidates for City Manager on August 23. The two finalists are Allan Schmidt, a Senior Park Planner/Designer for Metro in Portland, and Cynthia Alamillo, Assistant City Manager for City of Manzanita.
The public is invited to meet the candidates at a Coffee with the City Manager Candidates reception on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Pine Grove Community House. The City Council will conduct interviews of these candidates later that day.
