The sun was shining and market was hopping last weekend, and we’re ready to do it again! We’ll be back for week 3 on Friday, May 29th from 4-7 pm, with all the deliciousness. I’ve been loving the ripe strawberries, fresh greens, and beautiful flowers!
Help support our SNAP match program by buying our new 2026 commemorative poster, created by vendor Katie Simmons. We also have new organic cotton tote bags for sale featuring last year’s poster design. Stop by the market info booth to purchase merch, or to run your SNAP card — and getTRIPLE your money – turn $20 into $60 with our Triple-Up Food Bucks! We also have the beach wheelchairs from the Visitor Center available to borrow at the info booth, free of charge.
Market is a great place to grab a casual dinner and enjoy live music with friends. This week we are welcoming back Sasquatch Sandwich Shop after a winter of travel! His sandwiches and Korean pork bowls are a hit, and one of my personal favorite market treats is his Vietnamese coffee. Malia’s Grill serves up tasty, nourishing poke bowls and Hawaiian plate lunches. Gnarly’s Tacos has amazing carnitas and fish tacos and pupusas. Antojitos Don Berna has refreshing original smoothies and mini pancakes, and Blessed Donuts serves up fresh, hot, gluten free mini donuts!
Music this week is by Lauren Sheehan. Dubbed the “Portland String Queen”, she plays a mix of old blues, early jazz, roots, and country for a blues-billy good time.
