Manzanita’s collectible Independence Day 2023 parade posters will again be on sale at the Friday, June 30th Manzanita Farmers’ Market. Local artist Lori Dillon who created the 2023 poster will be on hand to personalize and autograph copies from 4 to 6 p.m. The commemorative prints cost $30 each.
Something new — canvas shopping bags decorated with the poster — will also be available. The bags cost $20 each.
All proceeds from the poster and bag sales go to the Manzanita 4th of July Parade organization. Costs include supplying participation ribbons, souvenir buttons, printing, banners, and signs. Also, volunteer badges, registration supplies, and trash services for the day of the parade.
The posters and bags are available at the Manzanita Visitors Center, 31 Laneda Ave. It is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Copies of several previous years’ collectible posters are still available.
