The NRFPD is holding its first (of what is to become an annual event) Public Safety Open House this Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hebo fire station.
There will be crafts and a special raffle for the younger crowd, together with Smokey the Bear and a clown to greet them! Life Flight will land at 11 a.m. There will be a push-in ceremony for our new engine at noon. Special skills will be demonstrated, such as our drone and an automobile extrication. Water and rope rescue skills will be on display. Free blood pressure checks, and a CPR demonstration. Free hot dogs and ice cream. Come out and meet some of Nestucca Fire Fighters!
