Come join North Coast Communities for Wathershed Protection this Saturday, October 10th at 11am for U of O students Coastal Futures 2027 Project!
Below is the schedule for the event on October 10 that will kick off the Coastal Futures 2027 Project. This is a chance for the U of O students to meet the community at the beginning of their project, understanding that listening is a critical part of the design process. Along with the Coastal Futures students we will be consulting with graduate student Inanna Hencke who is doing her final Masters of Landscape Architecture project on the Jetty Creek watershed and the City of Rockaway Beach’s plans to purchase a portion of the watershed.
*We want to make clear that this is ultimately an academic exercise and not a professional plan, but we are confident her work will be valuable for the city and the Rockaway Beach community.
