Celebrating the Life of Alexis Rochelle Goddard
Alexis Rochelle Goddard came into this world on a beautiful summer day, June 10, 1970, born to James and Leslie Goddard. From the very first moment, it was clear that Alexis was something special. She lit up every room she entered and lived her life as the brightest star in the universe. On April 11, 2026, after a long and difficult journey with medical issues caused by strokes, Alexis passed away, leaving behind memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.
Alexis was strong-willed, determined, and never one to take no for an answer. She knew exactly what she wanted and went after it with everything she had—and she expected the same boldness from the people she loved. Her faith in the Good Lord guided her throughout her life, and her love for music, dancing, Marilyn Monroe and a good old cheeseburger and even her beloved stuffed animals brought her joy at every stage of life.
From a very young age, Alexis dreamed of becoming a ballerina, and anyone who saw her dance knows she truly could dance with the best of them. Above all else, Alexis’ greatest love was her family—especially her three sons: Joseph Cool Goddard, William Timothy Howard, and Anthony Robert Howard. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Drayke, Killian, and Ivan Goddard, who brought endless happiness into her life.
Alexis was the second oldest of seven children and shared a close bond with her siblings. She is survived by her brothers, Timothy Goddard, Robert Scott Goddard and his wife Alice, along with their sons George, James, and Montana Goddard. Sister April and her husband Scott Buckmeier and their children Clarence Anderson, Nicholas Goddard Leake and his partner Kiara and daughter Mireille. Brother, Boone Goddard and his children Finn, Gracie, and Rowan Goddard. Sister, Tylee and Nic Laurance and their children Wolfgang and Ozzy Laurance; and sister, Faith and Zach Almader, who recently welcomed baby Anita into the family.
Alexis is also survived by her devoted and loving life partner, Randel Kuschnick, as well as countless cousins and dear lifelong friends Janeal Shattuck, Delilah Anderson and Amy Wheeler.
Alexis leaves behind a powerful legacy of love, strength, laughter, and determination.
She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
