OBITUARY: Anna Josephine Reeher – March 5, 1937 – June 7, 2026

Ann Josephine Reeher, 89, a resident of the Tillamook County community, died Sunday, June 7, 2026 at her home and is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

Private Cremation Rites were held at the Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove. A celebration of life will be held at the Reeher Family Home, Friday, June 26, 2:00pm – 19475 Reeher Road, Tillamook, OR 97141.

ANN JOSEPHINE REEHER was born in Portland, Oregon to the late Howard Tracy Walker and Maia (Goodmundson) Walker. She was raised and received her education in the Portland community, having been a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1955. Upon her high school graduation, Ann attended Oregon State College (known today as Oregon State University) in Corvallis, Oregon, having received a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources.

Ann was united in marriage to James Arthur Reeher Jr. on September 21, 1958, in Portland, Oregon. They celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary September 2024. Following their marriage, they raised their family while living in John Day, Ontario, The Dalles and Jewell, Oregon. After Jim’s retirement, the couple moved to the Reeher Family Homestead near Tillamook.

Ann was a member of the Loving Stitches Quilt Group where she enjoyed making quilts as a group for the homeless. She loved spending time in her garden watching things grow, knitting beautiful sweaters and sock, and visiting with family. Ann and Jim loved living on the Reeher Homestead where they took an active part in caring for the beautiful land. Ann and Jim were active members of the Christ Reformation Church in Tillamook.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim Reeher, parents Howard and Maia Walker and her brother John Walker.

Survivors include her three brothers Ray Walker, Jim (Judy) Walker and George (Becky)Walker, her four children and their spouses, Howard and Kelley Reeher, of Longview, Washington; Janice and Scott Hoffine, of Eugene, Oregon; Donna and Phil Senner, of Antelope, Oregon and James and Kim Reeher, of Prineville, Oregon.

Also surviving are her ten grandchildren, Emily Wilcox; Chelsea Schwab; Kyle Reeher; David Reeher; April Lindsey; Jordan Reeher; Taylor Flores; Zach Senner and twins, Zach and Zoe Guthrie; her twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
