Kathy Jo Pesterfield was born November 29, 1969 in Tillamook, Oregon to Joe and Sugar (Pearl) Vice and passed away April 27, 2026 in Tillamook, Oregon at the age of 56.
Kathy graduated from Tillamook High School in 1988 and started working as a 911 dispatcher. She later worked 10 years at the Oregon Youth Authority and then the last 18 years for Oregon Dept of Fish and Wildlife, where she received 2 customer service awards.
Kathy enjoyed crocheting, reading, camping, spending time with family and friends and traveling to see grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her husband Leonard Pesterfield, 2 children: Tori Pesterfield and Eli (Rosie) Pesterfield. 1 brother Kelly (Beth) Vice.
3 granddaughters: Harper, Brooklyn and Isabella Pesterfield and 1 granddaughter Faith Pesterfield who is on the way.
And many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held May 2nd at the Ocean Breeze Baptist Church and interment at Oretown Cemetery.
