OBITUARY: Kenneth Eugene Bell – March 26, 1936 – October 2, 2026

Posted on October 8, 2026 by Editor

Kenneth Eugene Bell

Kenny was born March 26, 1936, to Joe and Emma Bell, the youngest of their four children. He passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 2, 2026. A lifelong Tillamook resident and an active community member. Over the years, Kenny served on many boards and committees, was a long-time Port of Tillamook Bay commissioner, and volunteered as a firefighter.

He served four years in the Army and attended Oregon State University, where he developed his love of the Beavers. Kenny and Barbara met at a dance in Amity and they were married shortly after, on August 8, 1959. Their marriage lasted 63 years. They had two children, Rusty Bell and Jody Bell.

A long-time business owner, Kenny and Barbara owned Bell’s Office Machines for over 40 years. Kenny loved fishing, cheering on the Beavers football team, and spending time with his family. His sense of humor will always be remembered.

Kenny was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and his son Rusty. He is survived by his daughter Jody Bell, his grandson Kenny Bell, and many nieces and nephews.

Kenny will be deeply missed by friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held November 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Swiss Hall in Tillamook, Oregon.
