Join Nehalem Valley Historical Society, Old Wheeler Hotel owner Katie Bambrink and Wheeler’s business community for a celebration of the historical Old Wheeler Hotel’s centennial. The Old Wheeler Hotel has been transformed into a tour through history as owner Katie Bambrink has meticulously researched the buildings history and compiled a collection of photos and artifacts that tell of the story of Wheeler. On Saturday, November 16, doors will open for tours of the Hotel’s history hall at 2pm with showings of a film about Wheeler by historian Mark Beach and filmmaker Carl Vandervoort at 3:30 and 4:30.
