One American’s journey through the presidential election (courtesy of It’s A Wonderful Life) …

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Thank you so much Donald Roddy for sharing this very accurate commentary on the National election. As we’ve all “re-lived” Election day after day, to finally have a President-elect, Joe Biden declared today Saturday November 7th. To be celebrating the first woman, first woman of color Vice President-elect Kamala Harris at this woman-owned business is beyond words, and the record numbers of voters is hopeful for the future to continue to be involved and engaged in our communities. That every vote counts. There is so much work to do.)

Tuesday evening, kneeling in prayer …
“Please! I wanna live again. I wanna live again. Please God, let me live again.”

Wednesday afternoon, running through town, exhilarated by faith and hope … “Merry Christmas you wonderful old Garibaldi Grade School!”

And finally late Friday night, Biden assured victory, imagining church bells ringing across the land … “Look, daddy. Teacher says, every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings.”

“That’s right, that’s right. Attaboy, Clarence.” And 75 million chimes later …

Thank you Lord for all who voted! Our lesson has been learned! God Bless America! Thank you for letting us live again!
