OPEN, OPEN, OPEN — Tillamook Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Prepares for Opening at NEW Location Tomorrow, Oct. 10th

Posted on October 10, 2018October 10, 2018 by Editor

By Laura Swanson

Open-open-open – the day arrives tomorrow October 10th with Tillamook Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore opening in it’s new location, 4192 Hwy. 101 – across from the Tillamook Creamery – at Tillamook RV Center. Located in the former TC Teen Center Resale Store, ReStore’s expansion is a win-win-win for everyone.

More space – 9,000 square feet to be exact, accessible and filling an empty space with the closing of the Teen Center store. “We weren’t looking for a new location, but a serendipitous conversation and I found out about the availability,” said Tillamook Habitat for Humanity director Cami Aufdermauer. “Opportunity knocks, and God opens doors. It all fell into place.”

Hampton Lumber donation…

… becomes office spaces and board room.
It takes a community – YMCA employees helped with painting at the new ReStore location.

From the community assistance for the big move, construction and much more, the ReStore is ready to open October 10th at 10 am. The ReStore will be accepting donations and resuming “business as usual” — with much more space and possibilities.

Watch for more about the GRAND OPENING November 1st.
