Construction started on U.S. 101
You may have seen activity along U.S. 101 as crews set up work zones to repair or replace culverts under the highway.
We’re planning to repair or replace some of the culverts along U.S. 101 between mileposts 75.3 to 129.1.
Culverts help minimize flooding by allowing water to flow under the highway.
You can expect:
- Crews working Sunday night through Friday morning, 7 p.m. through 5 a.m.
- Shoulder and single-lane closures on U.S. 101 as needed.
- Flaggers directing traffic as needed.
- Delays and construction noise.

Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not. |
