Oregon Tops 10,000 COVID-19 cases, 4th day of over 300 new cases – Oregon reports 301 new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths; Tillamook Adds Another Case, Total Count at 15

EDITOR’S NOTE: Tillamook County Community Health Centers announced at county Leadership team meeting today Monday July 6th that a 15th case has been added. TCCHC has completed contract tracing on the other cases; testing continues for close contacts and those presenting as symptomatic. There has been no outbreak at any Tillamook County facilities or businesses – an outbreak is over 5 cases at one location.

PORTLAND, Ore. — COVID-19 has claimed two more lives in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 215, the Oregon Health Authority reported Sunday July 5th.

Oregon Health Authority reported 301 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 bringing the state total to 10,230.

The new cases are in the following counties: Clackamas (25), Columbia (3), Crook (1), Deschutes (8), Douglas (4), Hood River (5), Jackson (3), Jefferson (1), Josephine (3), Lane (10), Malheur (15), Marion (38), Morrow (9), Multnomah (72), Sherman (1), Umatilla (41), Union (1), Wasco (3), Washington (51), Yamhill (7).

Presumptive cases are those without a positive diagnostic test who present COVID-19-like symptoms and had close contact with a confirmed case. County of residence for cases may change as new information becomes available. If changes occur, we will update our counts accordingly.
