North County Community,
Due to unforeseen circumstances (lack of volunteers), the HUGGS North County recycling program has to PAUSE for at least 6 weeks. We are exploring other options to continue to provide this recycling opportunity and we need your help. We need volunteers to assist with collection, storage and transport of the plastics for the program to continue.
HUGGS original goal was to place three benches in North County parks with Suicide Prevention information – we’ve earned FOUR benches, and now need to ask for the community’s help for the program to continue. Please DO NOT DROP OFF plastics at any of the the drop-off locations until further notice. If you are interested in helping/volunteering, etc. with the plastics recycling, please reach out to HUGGS – contact Laura Swanson at laura@nehalemtel.net.
