TIDES OF CHANGE: OCTOBER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH EVENTS – Unmasking DV – Soup Bowl Event Oct. 24th

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to honor victims, celebrate survivors, and bring light to an issue that affects so many in our community.

This year, Tides of Change is dedicated to “Unmasking Domestic Violence.” Domestic violence often hides behind closed doors, silence, and stigma. Unmasking it means talking about it openly, raising awareness, and ensuring every victim knows they are not alone.

There is a mask-making event tomorrow October 14th at TBCC, Wear purple day and much more to raise awareness about domestic violence.

And culminating with Tides of Change’s Soup Bowl event on October 24th at Pacfiic Restuarant

Turn your sound on! Listen in as the Executive Director, Valerie Bundy, shares a special message about everything happening this October to honor those impacted by domestic violence—including their annual Soup Bowl event!

Let’s stand together to bring hope and safety to our community.
