As we previously shared, the Port of Tillamook Bay is moving forward with the first phase of work to address the December 2025 storm damage to Hangar B at the Tillamook Air Museum.
Work was scheduled to begin this week to remove the large section of damaged roofing material that remains hanging below the opening in the roof. Unfortunately, the contractor performing the work has experienced a delay, but work is expected to get underway soon.
In preparation for this work, Tillamook PUD has been onsite to de-energize the area and remove electrical wires and poles in and around the work zone. This important precaution was taken to help ensure the safety of crews and prevent additional damage as work moves forward.
The Port continues to take a proactive approach to the storm damage, with safety remaining a top priority throughout the process. We appreciate everyone’s patience and look forward to sharing photos and updates once work gets underway.
