Tillamook County 4-H – Fair Wrap Up

Posted on August 21, 2026 by Kayla D Feist

As the Tillamook County Fair Season ends, Tillamook 4-H is nothing but grateful for the way our community supported us. To every 4-H family, 4-H Leader, Superintendent, FFA Advisors, Fair Board Members, OSU Extension Office, JLAC, our award sponsors, everyone in between, and of course our 4-H’ers, THANK YOU!

This was the first fair for the new Tillamook County 4-H Coordinator, Kayla Feist, and it was absolutely amazing. That great experience came directly from all the support offered from everyone listed above. 4-H and FFA kids worked incredibly hard, and that showed in the showrings! Our 4-H Exhibit Hall and pre-fair contests also deserve a special shout-out for all of their hard work.

Here are some highlights from this year’s fair:
Molly, Kate, and Natalia all went above and beyond during fair week, earning gift baskets to recognize their hard work.

Desi Josi celebrated 50 years of dedicated 4-H volunteer service with her club, Fairview!
Our Herdsmanship winners got banners, and the overall club gets to go on a field trip.

Our 4-H exhibitors from pre-fair events and the exhibit hall and got recognized for their hard work.

And of course, our Master Showmanship Winners are as follows:
Small Animal Champion Junior- Drake S.
Small Animal R. Champion Junior- Ella M.
Small Animal Champion Int.- Molly A
Small Animal R. Champion Int.- Natalia P.
Small Animal Champion Sr.- Sandra H.
Small Animal R. Champion Sr.- Emma J.
Livestock Champion Junior- Nellie H.
Livestock R. Champion Junior- Bode L.
Livestock Champion Int.- JD H.
Livestock R. Champion Int.- Kaci A.
Livestock Champion Sr.- Ruby W.
Livestock R. Champion Sr.- Maddie N.

Though the fair may be over, Tillamook 4-H has lots of exciting things in store. If you have a child interested in sewing, cooking, animals, photography, etc. 4-H is the place for them! Our enrollment begins October 1st and we are so excited to welcome new members to the program. Please call our office at 503-842-3433 or email us at tillamook4h@oregonstate.edu if you’d like to get yourself or your child involved.

See you at next year’s fair!
