Tillamook County Farmers Markets – SNAP Double Up Food Bucks

Posted on August 25, 2017

The end of August?!? It goes so fast … summer. And the Farmers Market season – only a few weeks left to enjoy the bounty of our local farmers.
At Manzanita, Tillamook and Pacific City Farmers Market, SNAP members can DOUBLE their money! That’s right Oregon Trail card holders that spend $10.00 are given an EXTRA $10.00 to spend at their local Farmers Markets. “We want to get the word out there about this great program,” said Allyson Gardiner from Food Roots. “This is FREE money!” And it benefits your local farmers.

Now’s the peak of harvest so stock up on all the fresh-grown goodness available at these markets:

Manzanita Farmers Market – FRIDAYS – 5 to 8 pm for 8/25 and 9/1 markets; then for final markets 9/8 and 9/15 hours are 4 to 7 pm

Tillamook Farmers Market — SATURDAYS – 9 am to 2 pm – through 9/30

Pacific City Farmers Market — SUNDAYS – 10 am to 2 pm – through 9/24
