The database provides hobbyists, makers, and curious learners of all skill levels with practical information, ideas, and inspiration for a wide range of creative and recreational interests.
Hobbies & Crafts Source includes thousands of full-text recipes, hundreds of hobby and craft magazines, reference works and eBooks, hobby profiles, and instructional videos. Users can search by keyword or browse by subject to explore topics including arts and crafts, collecting, cooking and baking, seasonal crafts, home and garden, indoor and outdoor recreation, needlecrafts and textiles, performing arts, science and technology, and more.
The database is complemented by the Hobbies & Crafts Reference eBook Collection, which provides additional comprehensive reference materials from leading educational publishers and presses.
Whether you are learning a new skill, researching a favorite pastime, or looking for your next project: Hobbies & Crafts Source makes it easy to discover useful information and fresh ideas. Electronic Resources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the Tillamook County Library website, allowing patrons to explore their interests whenever inspiration strikes.
