SOUTH COUNTY: On Thursday February 9th, 2023 from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Brooten Road will be closed between Fisher Road and Rodger Avenue for a crane lifting operation for the Canal House Apartment boxes lift & set.
Traffic will still be able to use Fisher Road and Roger Avenue but not the section of Brooten Road between the closure area due to safety issues and concerns.
There will be 4 different semi-trucks that will need to pull in and Park on Brooten Road in front of 35787 Brooten Road and have the pre-built apartment boxes rigged and then lifted and over the de-energized power lines and set on the concrete carport foundations.
Estimate of 9 hours to complete this task but anticipate 4 to 6 hours but want to make sure if any issue arises that there is enough time to complete setting the apartment boxes.

We will be utilizing D&H Flagging Services for road signage and markings as well as traffic control services and to guide and direct traffic and local residents etc.
There will be VMS Reader board signage on Highway 101 south of Brooten Road and north of Resort Drive to alert & direct motorists and local residents on the direction they should travel to enter and exit Pacific City.
