“Insta-Bridge” – but it’s not ready for traffic yet – ahead of schedule, the Miami Foley Road should re-open on Tuesday December 19th. If there continues to be traffic on the bridge and it is not allowed to properly cure – that could delay the opening. OBEY THE SIGNS!! Miami Foley Road is still closed.

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE OVER BRIDGE UNTIL SIGNAGE HAS BEEN FULLY REMOVED. Bridge is not finished. Signage, Cones and barricades do mean ROAD is CLOSED! Grout needs to cure also currently has 5-inch drop on each side of the bridge. Estimating to open on Tuesday December 19, 2023.
SANDLAKE ROAD SLIDE UPDATE:
The temporary repair to the Sandlake Road Slide between Pacific City and Tierra Del Mar is expected to hit a milestone on Tuesday, December 19th. A proposal and plans for a soil nail solution will be received and we will submit permits on or near that date.
Stabilizing the uphill lane will allow for emergency vehicles to drive across the slide. We are looking into options to install signals that will allow the road to be open to the public.
No update on a construction timeline.
No update on a permanent fix that will restore two lanes of traffic.
