Tillamook County Public Works South Fork Trask River Bridge Construction Project to start Oct. 15th

Posted on October 13, 2018

The South Fork Trask River Bridge is located at mile post 13.3 along Trask River Road in Tillamook County, Oregon, approximately 15 miles east of the City of Tillamook. The existing bridge is a 62-foot-long, 14-footwide, steel bridge with a concrete deck. The new bridge will be an all concrete structure, 28’ wide. The contractor for this project is Bent LLC., a contractor based in Stayton, Oregon. The contractor anticipates construction to begin the week of October 15, 2018 with completion in the Spring 2019.

No extended road closures are anticipated. There will likely be short term closures during critical phases of construction where heavy equipment will need to use the existing roadway to complete key work elements. The roadway will be posted with signs and notice will be given before any extended road closures.

Construction Engineering and Inspection will be completed through a separate contract with the County by OBEC Consulting Engineers. OBEC will have a representative onsite if you have any questions.
Please contact Tillamook County Public Works at 503-842-3419 if you have additional questions.
