A new chapter for mountain biking on the Tillamook Coast starts here.
The Buzzard Butte Trail Network, just north of Pacific City, is the area’s first public trail system. Throughout 2024–2025, the Tillamook Off-Road Trail Alliance (TORTA) added six new trails, with more planned.
Designed with progression and accessibility in mind, these trails create space for more people to ride, including those using adaptive equipment. It’s a thoughtful approach to trail building that opens the door for shared experiences on the coast.
Set in the Siuslaw National Forest east of Sand Lake, Buzzard Butte is part of a long-term vision for expanded riding opportunities on the North Coast.
Tillamook Offroad Trail Alliance (TORTA)/Pacific City Pathways are throwing a celebration in Pacific City on Saturday, June 6th, and you are officially invited!
Come out for a night of good times, a movie premiere, and a fundraiser to support the incredible work going into our local trail system. Whether you’re an avid mountain biker or just love supporting local outdoor recreation and community wellness, this is the place to be.
📆: Saturday, June 6th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
