Tillamook PUD is pleased to announce that Tristan Smith Evans and Brody Mersereau have been selected as recipients of the 2026 Lineworker Program Scholarship.
Tristan Smith Evans, a 2026 graduate of Tillamook High School, is committed to pursuing a career as an electric lineworker. He is drawn to the field because it combines hands-on outdoor work with the opportunity to serve others through meaningful public service.
Brody Mersereau, a 2024 graduate of Neah-Kah-Nie High School, plans to further develop his technical knowledge through classroom instruction and practical training offered through the program. He recognizes the essential role lineworkers play in serving local communities and is motivated by the opportunity to pursue a challenging and rewarding career in the electric utility industry.
Each recipient will receive $10,000 to support enrollment in an accredited electrical lineworker training program.
