An exciting opportunity for individuals aspiring to become an Electric Lineworker.
(TILLAMOOK, OR – March 3, 2025) Tillamook PUD is accepting applications for the 2025 Tillamook PUD Electric Lineworker Program Scholarship. Tillamook PUD developed the Electric Lineworker Program Scholarship in 2021 to help support local youth interested in pursuing a career in linework and to highlight the diverse professional opportunities within the electric utility industry. Two $10,000 scholarship opportunities are available.
To apply applicants must:
• Be a Tillamook County resident.
• At the time of applying, the applicant must be a 2025 graduating high school senior or have graduated within the 2024 or 2023 academic year.
• Meet the admission requirements, be accepted into, and complete a recognized Electric Lineworker Program within 24 months of enrollment.
• Be enrolled in one of the following recognized Electric Lineworker Programs: 1. Northwest Lineman College 2. VOLTA Line School
• Submit a completed application form and requested supporting documentation.
Individuals interested in applying must submit their completed Lineworker Program Scholarship application to Tillamook PUD by 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025.
