Where treble meet the tides: Rockaway Beach Music Festival returns for a third year August 15-16

Posted on August 5, 2026 by Rockaway Beach Music Festival

For a one weekend only, rock stars will play near the sea stars. The third annual Rockaway Beach Music Festival is mixing music notes with beach vibes for a free, two-day long music festival hosted at the Rockaway Beach Wayside August 15-16.

Hosted by Neah-Kah-Nie Coast Art and Music Cultural Foundation (NCAM), the event will feature twelve, live performing musical artists. The lineup includes: Sneakerwave, Brenda Andrus, Wes Youssi, The Upkeeps, Josefina Del Norte, Kill the Headlights, Mike Mannequin, Oklahoma Perfect, Kris Stuart, Mitch Whitaker, Metts Ryan Collins, and MOLLY BANG.

The music festival is free to attend; bring a chair and enjoy two days-worth of music at the beach! Or upgrade with a donation to receive VIP tickets for admission to a reserved seating area, only 250 seats will be sold. All proceeds from VIP tickets and merchandise sales will benefit NCAM’s mission of creating access for everyone, especially youth, to writing, music, arts, and cultural programs on the North Oregon Coast.

While enjoying music at the beach, attendees are also encouraged to support the artisan fair featuring local artists and makers. A beer garden will be pouring Steeplejack Brewing and Harder Day Distilling. Grab a bite to eat from the Garibaldi Portside Bistro food truck or Tony’s Beach Bites.

This year, thanks to a donation of a pair of JBL reference monitors from Harman International and JBL, NCAM will be able to professionally record the festival. This tech will also allow for the mixing and mastering of recordings and help with NCAM’s “Local Music Initiative” which is a program to provide free recordings for local bands.

The 2026 Rockaway Beach Music Festival’s presenting sponsors are Crow Cane, Steeplejack Brewing Company, Revival Drum Shop, and Five Star Guitars.

The event kicks off on Saturday, August 15 at noon with performances until 10 pm. The second day begins Sunday, August 16 at noon with live ongoing music until the conclusion of the event at 6 pm. For a full lineup of artists and to purchase VIP tickets, visit: rbmusicfest.com.

The Rockaway Beach Music Festival is made possible by city and community grants from Tillamook PUD, City of Rockaway Beach, Visit Tillamook Coast, Oregon Community Foundation, and The Roundhouse Foundation.
