As the economic development representative of the recently-formed Tillamook County Short-Term Rental Committee, I wish to extend an invitation to those having an interest in the positive and/or negative impacts of short-term rentals and the process of the committee’s review of the current regulatory ordinance (#84 – 9/13/2017). The committee will be hearing presentations from various public and private sector interests, and its formation of a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. Attend the following public meetings at the Main Branch of the Tillamook County Library (1716 Third Street, in Tillamook) on September 25, October 15 and November 6, from 9 am to 11 am. The Committee is also discussing the potential to hold Town Halls around Tillamook County, dates and locations to be announced.
