Alex Hamalian has the broad range of life and legal experience that I look for in a judge. Over the course of his career, he has handled many complex legal matters, managed a demanding multi-state law practice, successfully launched small businesses, played bass in a Punk Band, built hot rods, and worked as a machinist. A diverse background that allows him to see problems from several different perspectives and arrive at thoughtful solutions.
I am proud to support Alex Hamalian for Circuit Court Judge because he brings exactly the kind of experience, judgment, and character our community should expect from someone serving on the bench. We worked together over many years while I was the Tillamook County DA and he was representing criminal defense clients. Lots of tough negotiations and court appearances. Alex has good common sense, knows right from wrong, is a shrewd judge of character and truthfulness. He also knows how to disagree without being disagreeable, an ability sadly in short supply today.
