Congratulations to Pirate Boys Cross Country on becoming Back to Back District Champs! Congratulations to Coach Billstine for being named Special District 1 Coach of the Year for a 2nd year in a row! It was a dominant race by the Pirates, with all 7 runners finishing in the top 9. Senior Gus Kirby dominated the field from start to finish to win the race, with teammates Dylan Sigman (11) and R Weiss (12) finishing right behind him in 2nd and 3rd. Sophomore Zach Luquette finished in 5th, and Jack Cole (11), Charlie Zwissler (10), and Corbin Olson (10) finishing 7th, 8th, and 9th.
In the girls race Senior London Marin finished 9th.
The JV boys had a great race as well with Freshman Zach Scovel winning the JV race! We would like to give a big thank you to Trent Olson for taking pictures all year long.
The Pirate Boys will be heading to Eugene for the state championship race at Lane Community College on Saturday November 7th. Great Job! Good Luck! GO PIRATES!!
