Nestucca Valley Artisans Celebrate More Than Three Decades of Coastal Creativity at Annual Art Sale August 15-16, Kiawanda Community Center

Posted on August 7, 2026 by Editor

The Nestucca Valley Artisans (NVA) will welcome the community to its annual Art Sale on Saturday and Sunday, August 15–16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Kiawanda Community Center in Pacific City.
Founded in 1993, the Nestucca Valley Artisans began with a simple vision: to create a supportive community for the talented visual artists and craftspeople of South Tillamook County. The group’s first art sale was held in March 1994, and over the years the event has grown into a cherished annual tradition, now held each year on the third weekend of August.
For more than three decades, NVA has enriched the local community not only by showcasing the work of regional artists but also by giving back. The organization has provided art scholarships for graduating seniors at Nestucca High School, supported arts education for local children, and contributed to the Nestucca Valley’s public library.

After years of fostering connections between artists and the community, the Nestucca Valley Artisans became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. While its membership has expanded, the group’s heart remains firmly rooted in the Nestucca Valley, where the area’s stunning coastal landscape continues to inspire its artists.
Visitors to this year’s sale will discover an impressive selection of original artwork, including paintings, pottery, photography, handcrafted woodwork, jewelry, quilts, fabric art and much more. Whether searching for a unique gift or a special piece for the home, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists and purchase one-of-a-kind creations while supporting the local arts community.
